General Terms and Conditions of SPEAK YOUR MIND Platform – Therapy Services

Please note: Therapy Sessions are generally provided by independent therapists who are not employed by us. We act solely as an intermediary platform.
Medical Disclaimer: The Platform does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Sessions do not qualify as healthcare services under Hungarian law. If you are in crisis, contact a licensed healthcare provider or emergency services immediately.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel the Session free of charge up to 24 hours before its scheduled start time. Later cancellations or no-shows are not refunded.
1. Purpose of the Platform
The Platform provides access to online consultations with experienced therapists. By using the Platform, you enter into a contract for access to the Platform and its services.
2. Who is the Platform for?
The Platform is designed for adults seeking psychotherapy and counseling. Therapists are independent professionals operating under their own professional responsibility.
3. Health Services Disclaimer
Sessions do not qualify as medical or psychiatric consultations under Hungarian law. By booking a session, you acknowledge this contact is not part of healthcare.
4. Account Registration
The Contract is concluded upon delivery of Account registration confirmation to your email. You must be over 18 to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Each Client may have only one Account.
5. Booking Sessions
Sessions can be booked through Therapist Profiles. A single Session lasts 50 minutes (90 minutes for couples therapy). Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. The Therapist will wait 20 minutes for you to connect before closing the session.
If you are unsatisfied with your first Session, you may request a refund within 7 days by emailing info@speakyourmind.help. This applies only to the first Session and only once per Client.
6. Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. They cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers are transferable but the recipient must accept these Terms.
7. Membership Subscription
Subscriptions provide monthly Prepaid Sessions and renew automatically. You will be notified at least 3 days before each renewal. Unused Sessions carry over month to month during the Subscription.
8. Payment
Payment is processed via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Invoices are issued after completed sessions. All payment data is processed securely in compliance with GDPR.
9. Contract with the Therapist
The Contract with the Therapist is concluded upon successful payment. The information disclosed during the Session is confidential. The Therapist cannot provide legal services.
10. Technical Requirements
- Internet speed of at least 384 kb/s
- Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest versions)
- Tablet, desktop, or mobile device
11. Liability
The Platform provides only technical and administrative tools for communication between Clients and Therapists. We are not responsible for the therapeutic effectiveness or content of Sessions. The Therapist bears full responsibility for their services.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the Contract with one month's written notice. The Account may also be terminated by mutual agreement, breach of Contract, or 24 months of inactivity.

14. Alternative Dispute Resolution
Consumer disputes may be submitted to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), or via the EU ODR platform at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court.
